Zanzibar is a beautiful island, where culture, history and nature mix, leaving an indelible mark on all those who set foot on its soil. 
The east coast of the island is affected by the unique tidal phenomenon, causing the sea to recede up to 2km from the usual shoreline and leaving the ocean bed totally uncovered for a few hours a day. 
This is something one should experience at least once in a lifetime.
