Catania is my hometown, the city where I was born and raised, before going to live overseas and then moving back after a few years.
From here I started most of my travels to many international destinations and here I came back.
Every single time I walk through its streets I feel alive, surrounded by its great culture and history, its bustling vibrant “movida”, the Ionian Sea and our beloved and feared Mt.Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano.
This is Catania, a city that never sleeps, that was destroyed by many eruptions and earthquakes and then rebuilt, a city with many defects, yet willing to take on new challenges.
A city I’m proud of.
