Yesterday, I had a chance to admire for the second time in my life Italy’s most beautiful and most famous historic ship. 
The first time I was just a kid, over 30 years ago. 
Launched in 1931, the Amerigo Vespucci is a tall ship (sailing vessel) of the Italian Navy (Marina Militare) named after the explorer Amerigo Vespucci and it is in use as a school ship.
