The “White Temple”, Wat Rong Khun, is definitely one of the main attractions in Thailand’s northernmost province, Chiang Rai, very close to the border with Myanmar and Laos, the so-called Golden Triangle.
The most surprising fact about this gorgeous temple is the fact that it’s actually very recent and it was opened to visitors just in 1997.
I suggest going there in the early morning before the big crowd comes in.
